lets start with my mouse. as soon as i installed snow leopard, my mouse started skidding across the screen and the mouse cursor position started to jump all over the place. not only that, but now when i boot up windows, it is now really bad. when windows starts, my mouse skids across the screen and the mouse cursor jumps all over the place. every so often it is like my mouse is frozen. if i move it, it moves, but it is obviously moving very slowly. i am absolutely baffled. it’s like something is going on with the mouse drivers. i tried unplugging the mouse, and then booting into windows, and then booting into snow leopard, and it was still doing it. i then tried booting into windows, unplugging the mouse, and then booting into snow leopard, and it was still skidding all over the place. then i tried booting into windows, and plugging the mouse back in, and then booting into snow leopard, and it was still doing it. why am i not able to use my mouse on snow leopard? i don’t have any problems with my mouse in windows.

there is a problem with the permissions for the mouse driver. if you’re a windows admin and have your computer set up right, the driver would be in user space. so you would not have access. you would have to add your user to the video „video” group.
